Morris Music Stores Offer Music Lessons

Music Lessons PhotoIf Your Dream Is To Learn To Play a Musical Instrument We Offer Music Lessons at Both of Our Locations.

We provide music lesson for guitar (acoustic and electric), bass, piano, drums and fiddle. The lessons are all private so you can begin at anytime and you will be able to learn to play the style of music you prefer.

You do not need to know how to play anything before you begin, however if you already play and want to advance your skills we can help you with that as well.

All of our instructors are well qualified and are experienced at teaching.

Music Lessons Policies and Recommendations

Music Lessons Policies

  • Music lessons are prepaid for the current month in advance.
  • The music lessons are private and are one half hour long except for the group fiddle lessons.
  • Music lessons can be paid in cash, or by debit, credit card or cheque.
  • We do not charge any registration fees, however we have a no cancellation policy. If a student decides to cancel their lesson for any reason, there are no make-up lessons, rescheduling or credits given for the lesson.
  • Any music lessons canceled by the teacher will be credited.
  • All music lessons are to be arranged and paid for during regular store hours.
  • If you decide for any reason to stop taking lessons please let us know so we can book a new student. Unless you let us know different, we assume that your intention is to continue.

Music Lessons Recommendations

Practice

  • A good attitude and effort will help you achieve the results that you want.
  • Each student should practice a minimum of 30 minutes per day – everyday.
  • Practice makes perfect! Lack of practice is frustrating for both teacher and student during music lessons.

Please Come to Your Lesson Prepared

  • Bring your instrument with you (unless you are learning drums, piano or keyboards).
  • An amplifier is not necessary. There will be one in the teaching studio.
  • Bring any books or sheets that you are learning from.
  • If you want to learn guitar riffs, please download and print the tabs. This will save the teacher time.
  • If you are learning songs from MP3′s or CD’s please bring them with you charged and knowing where to find the songs. Have a list of songs that you are interested in learning (about ten).
